BioI am trying to find my faith.
I don't know what I believe or what I don't believe. I am paralyzed by the fear of hell and damnation from my Christian upbringing. Because I was so deeply involved in my Christian faith -- I truly saw myself as a prayer warrior -- I have all the automatic answers to my own questions that Christian culture provides.
I have an interest in other beliefs, and feel that they could enrich and strengthen not only my life, but my faith in God. I am interested in the idea of one Godhead with many avatars.
I am trying to look past these automatic responses, to let go of my fear, and to seek other faces of God. I am looking for my own true beliefs, my own true name.
